Bandar Lampung - Police evacuated a baby suspected to be 1 day old to Urip Sumoharjo Hospital Bandar Lampung, Monday (25/11/201) The baby was allegedly dumped by her parents.
The male baby was found by a junk finder, Ernawati, next to the trash bin, not far from Putri Mutiara Orphanage, Perum Korpri Kelurahan Korpri Raya, Sukarame, Bandar Lampung on Monday (25/11/201) at around 04.30 pm.
"The baby was found by Ernawati witness, then the baby was taken and treated by the witness at his home," said Kapolsek Sukarame, Kompol M Rohmawan, Monday (25/11/2024).
Upon getting the information, then Police immediately went to the residence of Ernawati witness.
"So out of pity, this mother Erna carried and cared for the baby as much as she could, in the end we immediately brought the baby to the hospital for intensive care," Kapolsek said.
Kapolsek added that Ernawati's witness found the baby inside a cardboard box covered in cloth with an umbrella.
Erna also found a letter suspected from the baby's mother containing an apology in the cardboard box.
"Waisat letter written on a piece of paper screaming, Mr. I'm sorry I'm giving permission to entrust this baby, I just graduated college and I don't even have a job yet, I am not able and I am not ready to take care of this baby, the baby was just born this afternoon right on the adzan ashar," Kapolsek is clear.
Polisi saat ini tengah mendalami kasus ini guna mengungkap sosok orang tua si jabang bayi.(*)
